To All Pastors and Rabbis,
I’m encouraging all Pastors and Rabbis to participate in and promote this year’s Fifth Annual Bible Reading Marathon (BRM) and National Day of Prayer. I believe as we stand together and declare the Word of God over Loudoun County that the Angels of God will hearken to the voice of the Word to accomplish it over this land. Scripture promises us that the Word of God will not return unto him void. Hebrews 4:12 states, “For the word of God is living, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”
Please join us on April 28 at noon for the Opening Ceremony event on the steps of the Loudoun County Courthouse which will then proceed to the rear pavilion of the Law Library right off of King Street at 1:00 p.m. The BRM will continue for six days and five nights, concluding at noon on the National Day of Prayer Thursday, May 3. Individuals from all over Loudoun and beyond will come to read the Word of the Lord aloud and share the great glory of our God! Just imagine how God has orchestrated an individual’s life to walk by and hear the Word that can change their life forever.
We shall be gathering two times on May 3: first, from noon to 1:00 p.m. in the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors Room in Leesburg and second, at Leesburg United Methodist Church from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. This day on which the whole country is united in prayer allows us as a community to pray for America, its people, its future, and ask for guidance and blessings during these difficult times. I invite all Pastors and Rabbis to join us in the Bible readings beginning with Genesis and continuing straight through to the end of Revelation.
The BRM organizers thank our sponsor, Loudoun Awakening, for helping bring this event to our community for the fifth consecutive year. To participate, visit the Loudoun Awakening web site at http://www.loudounawakening.org or call 703-777-6502.
In Jesus’ Name,
Note: Bishop Kevin L. Treadwell’s ministry is a Bible believing, Spirit filled Church, where one can grow spiritually and develop an intimate relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. The congregation believes miracles are for today and that the Lord is still healing individuals daily. Bishop Treadwell has over twenty-two years of ministerial experience. He often informs the congregation, “Only believe with God all things are possible. Yes, you can dream again and if you can see the invisible you can do the impossible.” The Living Word Church of Jesus Christ is a diverse group of believers located in the heart of Leesburg at 224 South King Street. Services are held on Tuesday evenings at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m. All are welcome.
