Making a Photo Story with Sarah Huntington
Noted Photographer Sarah Huntington will use her book "In Their Own Words, Recollections of an Earlier Loudoun" in this documentary photography mini-camp. The objective is to both record history and people and the combination of the two. Each student will pick a subject that has some historical significance and create a series of photographs that tells its story. Each day will include a review of current work and dicussions about content, composition, and lighting. The week will end with an exhibit of student work on Friday July 13 at 5pm.
All students will need a digital camera with a memory card. A 35mm SLR is recommended but not necessary. No cell phones! Ages 14 and up, maximum enrollment 8, July 9-13, 4pm - 6pm, $120 plus $10 for materials
