Doggie Day at Oatlands
Dogs and their people are invited to a special walk at Oatlands. The walk will raise funds for the restoration of "Rusty", our beloved guardian of the garden, and other preservation and conservation projects at Oatlands.
Participants have a choice of one of two walking courses: an approximate 3 mile circuit in the front fields or; an approximate 2 mile circuit around the historic core with an interpretive guide. This is an on-leash walk along a designated course.
Groups of 10-12 dogs will walk together, so our canine friends are advised to bring only humans who play well with others. There will be door prize drawings as well as a raffle for a custom pet portrait.
