Dr. Fred C. Johnson, the acknowledged expert on Loudoun County’s rich heritage of local furniture-making, will be featured in a return engagement to the Lovettsville Historical Society’s lecture series at St. James United Church of Christ.
Among the Lovettsville furniture makers whom Dr. Johnson has studied, are Jerome W. Goodhart, Charles K. Hough and his son Charles Jr., Jacob Slater, and Luther Thrasher.
