Ask Your Rep

“Sunlight is the best disinfectant.”

Email has become the preferred method of communication between elected officials and their constituents. Under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), these emails are a matter of public record; however, for others to gain access a FOIA request to the appropriate government entity is necessary. This is often costly and time consuming. As a service to citizens and elected officials and in the spirit of open government, the Blue Ridge Leader and Loudoun Today offers “Ask Your Rep.”

Email us your questions or comments for any elected official; we will forward the email and post the question and response on this page.

Only emails about issues, not personal comments or questions, will be accepted.

Remember that your elected representatives work for you, and they need to be responsive to you.
